1st Time Visitors

Visiting a new church could be a little scary at first. We work hard to make sure that does not happen.
You can expect that people will greet you and ask your name. A good handshake will probably happen as well. The women of TMB are huggers (if you stick out your hand, they will understand). Hugs are free!

We have Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:45 a.m. Morning worship service begins at 10:45 a.m. and there is a junior church during that service.

The service begins with congregational singing. The songs we sing draw our hearts towards the Lord. An offering will be taken, though you are not expected to give. We would appreciate it if you put your visitor’s card in the offering plate. Then we will preach from the Bible. This is to teach us more about our relationship with God. It is also to challenge us to live holy lives.
There is not a dress code at TMB for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you connect to the Lord, feel welcome, and comfortable on your visit here at TMB!

If you seek a church where God is preeminent, where the Word of God takes precedence, and where people encourage your spiritual growth, Table Mountain Baptist Church will be a blessing to you. We are traditional enough to center on God and His Word. We are wise enough to be scholars, learners, and seekers of God’s truths. The idea is to make our walk in Christ practical and applicable for the world in which we live. Thus, we love God, each other, and the world around us as Christ taught His disciples.
Discipleship
The Lord taught us that it is important to learn about His ways as described in His Word. We have a program that does just that. The book we use teaches the basics of having a relationship with the Lord.
You and your mentor will choose a time to meet each week for 14 weeks. In that time you will grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. You will most likely gain a new friend in the Lord as well.
Discipleship gives you a great foundation for a lifetime journey with God.

You and God
-
How to be 100% sure that you are going to heaven…
God’s Word says:
-
“All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
-
“The wages of sin is death…” Romans 6:23
-
“God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

God’s Instructions:
-
“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3
-
“… if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9
-
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
God’s promise:
-
“…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

To be saved confess and pray:
-
“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sin. I ask you to forgive me of all my sin and come into my heart. The best I know how, I am receiving Jesus as my Savior right now. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.”
If you have prayed this prayer and would like to know more about your relationship with Christ, let us know by emailing us.

About Us
Table Mountain Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church. This means we are not part of a denomination and under its control. Our beliefs are Biblically based, we desire to be Biblicists. We use the King James version of the Bible. Our worship service and songs are traditional. We believe Jesus Christ is God and the Son of God. We believe that a person is saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
